Yonezawa Vintage Kaiju Fire Monster Gomera Wind-Up Tin & Soft Vinyl Figure with Box (Japan, 1960s)
This is an original Fire Monster Gomera (発火怪獣ゴメラ) vintage toy produced by Yonezawa (ヨネザワ) during the Showa era (1960s–1970s).
A rare and highly sought-after wind-up walking kaiju combining both tin and soft vinyl (sofubi) materials.
When wound up, Gomera walks forward while opening his mouth as if breathing fire — a charming mechanical design typical of early postwar Japanese monster toys.
The figure features striking metallic blue and orange paint, and comes complete with its original illustrated box, showcasing classic retro artwork that captures the golden age of Japanese monster design.
This is a true piece of Japanese toy history, beloved by collectors of Showa-era kaiju and tin toy craftsmanship.
