🔍 Description
The Nintendo Data Recorder (HVC-008) is a vintage cassette tape drive accessory released in Japan for use with the Family Computer (Famicom) and Family BASIC programming cartridge.
It allowed users to save and load BASIC programs, game data, and custom creations from compatible Famicom titles by recording them to standard compact cassette tapes.
Designed to resemble a mini tape deck, the Data Recorder features RECORD, PLAY, REVIEW, CUE, and STOP/EJECT functions, as well as a built-in speaker and microphone.
